09.06.13 - Day 2: Mark and Estel highly anticipated debut at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week was an incredible success as they presented their Spring 2014 collection at the Lincoln Center for the very first time. The incredibly talented musician duo - Mark and Estel originally based in Los Angeles mentioned they have worked very hard to be where they are today at the largest fashion capital in the US. Their Spring 2014 collection is inspired by their music which opened up the show with melodic vocals to captivate the audience as they presented a collection with bold colors – from day to night – it was a sensory overload which captivated our hearts and grabbed our attention with an impressive collection.
The key piece was the skeleton dress which Mark explains is inspired by beauty that surrounded us but mainly from within. The inner beauty that can not be seen but only felt or touched by the heart. We were really inspired by this artistic collection and we are sure this will definitely be the first of many shows ahead for Mark and Estel.
